Pengurus Persatuan Wartawan Indonesia Provinsi DKI Jakarta (PWI Jaya) aktiv menggelar berbagai kegiatan. Beberapa event sudah siap diselenggarakan pada 2025 ini, di antaranya sepeda santai (fun bike), Kejuaraan Tinju Amatir Terbuka Kadet dan Remaja, dan Anugerah Jurnalistik Muhammad Hoesni Thamrin.
Kegiatan sepeda santai (fun bike) dijadwalkan 27 April, dengan start di Monas dan finis di Ancol. Untuk tinju, bekerja sama dengan Persatuan Tinju Amatir Nasional Indonesia (Pertina) DKI Jakarta, dilangsungkan 19-21 Juni di GOR Ragunan, Jaksel. Event tinju ini dikaitkan dengan HUT Kota Jakarta.
Sementara Anugerah Jurnalistik Muhammad Hoesni Thamrin, atau MHT Award, adalah upaya PWI Jaya memberikan penghargaan atas hasil karya terbaik dari insan pers terkait dinamika pembangunan kota Jakarta.
Ketua PWI Jaya Kesit Budi Handoyo, menjelaskan, berbagai kegiatan yang dilakukan PWI Jaya tak terlepas dari dukungan para mitra, khususnya dunia usaha.
