Keduanya juga meminta Asosiasi Rental Mobil Indonesia (ARMI) untuk mengevaluasi prosedur sewa mobil, terutama layanan lepas kunci. Mereka menyarankan beberapa langkah preventif, seperti: Verifikasi dokumen penyewa dengan sistem berbasis data kependudukan (e-KTP). Pemasangan GPS tracker pada kendaraan rental, dan pengawasan lebih ketat terhadap persyaratan dokumen.
“ARMI harus meningkatkan standar keamanan untuk mencegah penyalahgunaan layanan rental oleh pihak-pihak tidak bertanggung jawab,” ujar Dar Edi Yoga.
Anrico Pasaribu dan Dar Edi Yoga menegaskan pentingnya sinergi antara kepolisian, TNI AL, dan ARMI dalam menyelesaikan kasus ini. “Pengungkapan kasus ini bukan hanya soal menegakkan hukum, tetapi juga menciptakan rasa aman bagi masyarakat dan pelaku usaha. Semua pihak harus bertindak cepat dan tegas,” tutup mereka.
